Please note that the application is done online. However if you need to be accredited for Skills Programmes you first need to develop the training material for the programmes you intent to offer as soon as you receive feedback or you training material has been approved its only then you can apply for accreditation. A detailed email with the list of Skills programmes will be sent shortly to your email address;

Kindly note that the HWSETA accreditation is done online, and the intent form is not applicable unless you meant the QCTO intent form for authorization on HWSETA accreditation for a full qualification and if so; kindly follow-up with them directly for assistance.

I would like to know :
* what is the process that we should follow, do we have to sent a letter of intent to QCTO first as is the case with most SETA’s
* can we apply online ?
* does HWSETA has its own learning material ?

Kindly be informed that an authorisation by QCTO first is only applicable if the SDP intend to apply for full qualifications or Learning Programmes. Should the SDP opt to apply for Skills Programmes, there is no need to send an Intent form to QCTO. The SDP contact HWSETA directly for requirements. HWSETA does not have the training material for skills programmes and the SDP’s are expected to develop their own or buy from the Developers. As soon as the training material is ready, the SDP contact HWSETA for further advise on submission. The training material is evaluated external and the SDP can only apply online once the report has been received.

I completed my N6 in public management in 2017 and i was struggling to get inservice training because i dont have funding
I got my inservice training last month at social development so they told me to look for funding
So i was just asking that how can i get funding or apply for HWSETA

Kindly note that HWSETA does not recruit students for any funded programmes. HWSETA advertise funding to HWSETA registered Employers and once they are approved for funding they advertise to recruit students. HWSETA Employers are the department of health and Social Development.
HWSETA advertised in august this year for such opportunities.

How to apply for HWSETA learnership

Kindly note that you need to look out for adverts when HWSETA registered Employers advertise for such opportunities, HWSETA advertise funding to HWSETA registered Employers Between June- July. The relevant departments would be the department of health, Social development and some of the NGO’s and NPO’s. depending on the learnership you require. From time to time you can also contact the department of health or Social Development in your area and check with them when do they advertise for such opportunities.
