    Ive seen that the DPW has been contracted by Seta to deliver Victim Empowerment Support. How can i have access to the course? also i am registered as Assessor and Moderator for the said course, how can i benefit from the course

      Please note that a registered assessor and a moderator for any HWSETA programmes can only work with the provider who is accredited to offer that programme.

        Please note that HWSETA does not train individuals directly, HWSETA advertise funding to HWSETA registered Employers and once they are approved for funding they advertise to recruit learners for funded programmes. In other case HWSETA also provide accreditation to those companies (Skills Development Providers) who wants to train people on HWSETA qualifications or skills programmes;

Since you don’t train individuals is there a possibility that I qualify for that funded program you offer Through The Department of Social Development I would really love to acquire a Qualification in Community Development

            Kindly note that HWSETA learnerships or funded projects accommodates Employed learners and unemployed learners. If interested in being part of the HWSETA funded programmes, kindly visit the HR department at the department of social development and enquire about HWSETA funded learnerships. Kindly enquire with them when do they advertise and what are the requirements, and also check if they offer the learnership you want.

    How long does it take for a learner to acquire a certificate in the Hwseta program?!

    Is it allowed for a learner to travel from Krugersdorp to Pretoria to attend for Hwseta skill?!

      The certificates are issued after the verification has been conducted to the training provider by HWSETA and the Results endorsed by HWSETA.

    I have seen that we need to apply with the department of public works to do implementation for them.
    I am a service provider accredited with NC health,safety and enviromment.The message is dated 12marh 2020.
    Where do we need to apply and also when is the closing date.

    Is this funding still available for application? We are registered with CATHSSETA and would like to apply for funding for First Aid courses. We would need to enter into an MOU between yourselves and CathsSETA. Please advise how we can proceed to apply for this should it still be available.

      Kindly note that HWSETA does not recruit students directly for any funded programmes except for Postgraduate. HWSETA advertise funding to HWSETA registered Employers i.e., Department of Health and Social Development, private hospitals, and private clinics. Once they are approved for funding, they select students. HWSETA also administer partnerships with the public universities and once they are approved for funding, they recruit students.

      Kindly note that QCTO qualification’s accreditation application must be made directly to QCTO not HWSETA. Further, please note that HWSETA registered Assessors and Moderators will be registered for HWSETA qualifications only. QCTO also authorise the accreditation of HWSETA learning programmes and historical qualifications, Occupational qualifications are linked to QCTO.

      Kindly send an email to hwseta@hwseta.org.za for advise and please specify your request. HWSETA does not register programmes but accredits organisations that wants to train the public on LEARNING programmes / Qualifications linked to HWSETA. State clearly what you require for onward advise.

    The US 49256 FETC Counselling has skills program under this unit , how do you access these other unit standards because they are not under the HWSETA Qualifications template.
    I saw them from a learner certificate that there are skills programs derived from US 49256, like 252533 To provide Pre and Post HIV Counselling.

      Kindly note that I will send the list of HWSETA approved skills programmes for your attention. You may then verify if the skills programmes required are included, remember HWSETA does not accredits Skills Development providers on single units standards only the Skills Programmes.
