Kindly note that you can approach Employers who offer funded learnerships, from the department of health nationally and provincially, private hospitals those who participate on funded learnerships. HHWSETA does not recruit students for funded programmes. HWSETA administer funding through HWSETA registered Employers, public universities and public TVET Colleges. HWSETA advertised funding and the applications are closing 20 February 2026.
You can access the employers by checking contact details on the websites and search for funded learnerships and contact them for more information in relations to requirements for admission.

Kindly note that the application on the website is only applicable to new applications. For Renewals, the Assessor must visit the stakeholder portals. Click on the
HWSETA Helpdesk Portal, create a ticket to request login details /password. click on ” I do not have an account” when you access the portal and provide all the information requested to create a ticket and attach the expired Assessor notification letter.
As soon as you receive the credentials/ password. Access your Assessor profile and create an application from the profile. Please certify all copies as follows;

Thank you for the email, kindly be informed that HWSETA does not recruit beneficiaries for any funded programmes directly, however HWSETA advertise funding on an annual basis to HWSETA registered Employers, public universities, public TVET colleges and Community Education and Training colleges to apply for funding on behalf of the learners/ students. Once they are approved for funding they select students.
HWSETA advertised funding for the current financial year in December 2025 until 20 February 2026. HWSETA should advertise gain for the next financial year around the same period.
