    Hello HWSETA I really want to be a part of the learnership programme in Health Promotion officer or Social Auxially i don’t know where to start cause I’m gaining a skill in Rehabilitation Centre i need to have more knowledge and a Certificate

      Kindly be informed that HWSETA advertised last year in August for learnerships opportunities to HWSETA registered Employers and HWSETA will advertise again July – August this year. Please note that HWSETA does not recruit learners for any funded programmes.

      Kindly note that such information can be accessible through the Skills Development Providers accredited to offer the programmes. The list will be sent to your attention shortly only for providers accredited to offer Social Auxiliary Worker NQF level 4 and for SAW level 5 you may request the list from QCTO.

      Kindly look out for such opportunities when the HWSETA Employers advertise such opportunities, HWSETA advertise such opportunities to HWSETA registered Employers on an annual basis and HWSETA should advertise again as from July this year.

      HWSETA employers are the department of health and social development.

          Kindly note that you need to look out when Employers advertise such opportunities, as HWSETA does not recruit Learners for any funded programme but advertise funding to HWSETA registered Employers. Once they are approved for funding they recruit learners.

          The potential Employers would be the department of health and social development.

      Please be informed that if you want to enroll on a Learnership, you need to apply when Employers advertise Learnership opportunities for Social Auxiliary Work. The relevant Employer will be the department of social development.

    Good Afternoon

    I am a Qualified Social worker who also Supervised Social Workers and Social Auxiliary in my previous employ. I would like to become an Accredited service provider to facilitate SAW NQF level 5 training using HW Seta training material.
    My partner used to work as a SDF consultant with a different Seta, is an Assessor, but the company which was accredited then to which we are both Directors is no longer active.

    Where should I start ?
