HWSETA Call for Expression of Interest 2022-2023

The following Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for 2022-2023 are currently open and the HWSETA invites all registered employers who submitted the WSP/ATR 2021-2022 or 2022-2023 to apply:

• Adult Education and Training Programme – 2022-2023.
• Bursary Programme for workers – 2022-2023.
• Funding for Lecturer Development Programme – 2022-2023.
• Funding for Work Integrated Learning for University students – 2022-2023.
• Workplace experience for TVET college learners – 2022-2023.
• Bursaries for vocational training (Occupational qualifications) – 2022-2023.
• Bursary Programme for unemployed persons – 2022-2023.
• Funding for Small & Micro Enterprises and Levy Exempt organisations – 2022-2023.
• Funding for Internship Programme for university graduates – 2022-2023.
• Funding for Skills Programmes – 2022-2023.
• Funding for Artisans and Technicians Programme – 2022-2023.
• Funding for occupationally directed learnership programme – 2022-2023.

Please note that the closing date for each EOI is 10 June 2022. Employers are encouraged to apply early as applications will be assessed as they are received

    Can a Non Profit Company (NPC) registered with CIPC apply for T-number or it is strictly CBO, NGO, FBO and NPO eligible to do so.

    Good day,

    Please kindly advised the process it would require to be a private training provider with an already established medical faculty and to apply for funding for internships with HWSETA.

      Kindly provide the name of of the Organisation (Medical Facility) and the Skills Development Levy number if you have to confirm details, HWSETA funding is mainly to Employers but some Employers have Training facilities also contributing levies.           Kindly be informed that the applications are already out under Employer TAB, Expression of interest, the lists are there and the applications are done online.

          The EOI are meant for Employers already registered with HWSETA. If not registered the first route is the T-number application and compliance with all required documents.

      Please note that HWSETA does no longer advertise to beneficiaries directly but to the public universities. After the universities have been approved for funding they will select students.

          Thank you for the email, kindly be informed that the HWSETA does not recruit Learners on any funded programmes. HWSETA advertise funding to HWSETA registered Employers and once they are approved for funding they advertise to recruit beneficiaries. Kindly enquire with Employers offering this Learnesrhip, for clarity. You can enquire with the department health or private Employers like Clicks Retails and Dis-chem and the Training Providers offering the programme. Visit their websites and check for information.

    I am trying to apply for EOI artisan trades for medical maintenance and repairs. Do we still need to attach an accreditation if the learners will be using the University of Witwatersrand or UNISA as a training provider?

      Kindly be informed that HWSETA fund Nursing qualifications through HWSETA registered Employers,The department of Health and Private Hospitals. You may enquire with them on when do they advertise for such opportunities.

      HWSETA advertised funding in May 2022 to HWSETA registered Employers.
