ERRATUM – Functionality Criteria Aptitude Tests – Closing Date: 29 January 2026

Specification: Aptitude tests

  • Aptitude tests will be conducted in three provinces (Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga)
  • Develop aptitude tests for Gr8, Gr9, Gr11 learners to assess aptitude for pursuing qualifications offered in the health, veterinary and social development sector.
  • Identify public schools and organise to conduct aptitude tests (Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga)
  • Conduct aptitude tests for 3000 learners, 1000 learners must be from special needs schools
  • Provide evidence of tests that were conducted
  • All tests must be completed by 31 March 2026 with the evidence submitted by 5 April 2026

·         Describe your in house capacity:

–          Specialist in the development of aptitude tests for special needs learners (5)
–          Specialist in the development of aptitude tests for mainstream school learners (5)
–          1 x Reference letters for the development of aptitude tests for special needs schools (5)
–          1 x Reference for the development of aptitude tests for mainstream schools (5)
–          1 x Reference letters for the conducting of aptitude tests (10)

–          Evidence of previous tests that were designed and results (10)
–          Evidence of conducting aptitude tests (10)
–          Evidence of aptitude tests conducted at public schools (15)

Please note the error in the miscalculation of the total points of the functionality criteria for the supplier to conduct aptitude tests request for quotation that affects the total points.

The Evaluation criteria had the following functionality criteria:

The miscalculation of total points allocated for 5 years or more =20 points is affecting the total scores of the functionality criteria. The total score is less than 100 points as per the evaluation criteria.

Note that because of the error, the total evaluation points of this functionality criteria will be 90 points not 100 points as previously advertised.
