APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER OR INDIVIDUALS TO MARK AND MODERATE THE LEARNER SCRIPTS FOR EXTERNAL INTEGRATED SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENTS (EISA) FOR FOUR (04) OCCUPATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Appointment of a service provider or individuals to mark and moderate the learner scripts for external integrated summative assessments (EISA) for four (04) occupational qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS:

An understanding of the occupational qualifications sub-Frameworks (OQSF).

Teaching knowledge and experience in Occupational Health and Safety.

Previous work in Occupational Health and Safety and examination setting.

An understanding of how occupational qualifications are developed and implemented.

Experience in the marking of assessment instruments/Tools.

Experience in moderating assessment instruments for Occupational Health and Safety.

Knowledge of the Social Services and Health Sector needs and the specific skills required by stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

For all the four (04) occupational qualifications Occupational Health and Safety Educational background:

  • Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) or related field
  • Experience:
  •  2 years in OHS or related workplace
  •  2 years in developing, marking and/or moderating assessment instruments
  • Contactable references for assessment development/marking/moderating
  • Professional registration: Registered with applicable professional/regulatory body (e.g. SACPCMP, SAIOSH, IOSH)
  • Sector experience: Prior work with HWSETA, QCTO, or related sector bodies

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS TO ACCOMPANY THE APPLICATION:

  • Application letter (clearly specifying what one is applying for e.g. )
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) reference to Education within the Islamic sector
  • Two references on assessment instruments marked /moderated
  • Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) or related field
  • Teaching qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Proof of Central Systems Database (CSD)
  • A valid Tax pin
  • A BBBEE certificate
  • An SBD form
  • Quotation of the required services (marking or moderation or both

Note: that bids will be evaluated on functionality separately first. Bids scoring less that 70% on functionality will not be considered further in the evaluation and will be disqualified.
