APPOINTMENT OF A SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS (SMEs) TO REVIEW THE THREE OCCUPATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS IN THE PHARMACY SUB-SECTOR.

To review three occupational qualifications .
To provide a detail project plan with HWSETA time frame of six months.
To attend and facilitate the pre scoping, scoping, and subsequent work
To review and complete the following documents.
Occupational profiling
Curriculum development
Assessment specification
Qualifications assessment specification
Quality Assurance Submissions to QCTO
To submit the completed curriculum to the HWSETA within the stipulated timeframe.
To compile a separate report relating to the analysis of the sector and a

recommended implementation plan/ as per HWSETA directive.

Follow up and liaise with QCTO where necessary.
To provide support to the HWSETA where it is deemed necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in Education or related field in developing curriculum documents.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in developing qualification for the NQF.
 2 years’ experience in development of occupational qualifications.

3 Contactable references confirming occupational qualification development.
Sector experience:
Prior work with HWSETA, QCTO, or related sector bodies

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS TO ACCOMPANY THE APPLICATION:

Project plan and timelines as per HWSETA time frame
Three reference letters confirming occupational qualification developed.
Acknowledgement letters sent to QCTO on behalf of any SETA confirming occupational qualification developed.
1 Completed curriculum document.
Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) reference to qualifications development
List of qualification register with SAQA.
Proof of Central Systems Database (CSD)
A valid Tax pin
A valid BBBEE certificate
SBD 4 form
Quotation of the required services

FUNCTIONALITY REQUIREMENTS

Note: that bids will be evaluated on functionality separately first. Bids scoring less than 70% on functionality will not be further considered in the evaluation and will be disqualified.

All bidders will be evaluated on the criteria indicated hereunder.

Criteria 2: Provide three developed qualifications that have been submitted to QCTO (provide acknowledgement letters from QCTO) 2.1 10 points for each qualification developed 2.2 0 point no acknowledgement letter	30 points
Criteria 3: Evidence of one (1) completed curriculum submitted to QCTO (provide a complete curriculum document) 3.1 15 points for the curriculum submitted 3.2 0 points for no curriculum submitted	15 points
Criteria 4: Provide a detailed CV with experience in qualification development 4.1 2 years’ experience and more 5 points 4.2 Less than 2 year 0 points	5 points
Criteria 5: Provide proof of already registered qualifications with SAQA 5.1 5 points per registered qualification maximum of 3 qualifications 5.2 0 points for no qualification	15 points
Criteria 6: 3 Contactable references confirming occupational qualification development 6.1 5 points per occupational qualification development	15 points
TOTAL	100 points
All providers that passed functionality criteria will further be evaluated on Price and HWSETA specific goals.
