The health and welfare sector is a heterogeneous sector falling mainly under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) category 93.
The HWSETA has jurisdiction in over 60 SIC codes and employers belonging to the 60 SIC sectors are grouped into five groups:
- Community services
- Complementary services
- Doctors and specialists
- Hospitals and clinics
- Research and development institutions
The HWSETA would like to appoint a Skills Development Provider or institution with NPO training experience to provide accredited training and assessment of the following short courses:
- Management and leadership of NPOs (NQF level 4 and above)
- Basic to advanced computer skills (full MS package)

Only original fully signed hard copies of proposals will be accepted.
No late, faxed or emailed applications will be accepted.
Proposals must be submitted either by hand or couriered to the HWSETA Head Office at 17 Bradford Road, Bedfordview, 2007.
