Researchers x 2 – Head Office – Gauteng

The successful candidate will be required to  conduct research and provide labour market relevant information for the HWSETA, in line with business and annual performance plans. This includes workplace analysis, data interpretation, producing reports and ensuring reliability and validity of data.

Minimum requirements: A Master’s Degree in Social Sciences with majors in labour market research or Economics; 3 – 5 years’ research experience, qualitative and quantitative and a valid driver’s licence. Must be able to work with complex data, analytical thinking, attention to details and a track record of good quality research

Remuneration: Market related.

Provincial Coordinator  – Head Office – Gauteng

The successful candidate will be required to coordinate the activities between head office and provincial office.  This includes the consolidation of reports, business processes, business needs and travel requests.

Minimum requirements: National Diploma in Business or Office Administration. 3 – 4 years working experience in development or office administration and or project management. Valid driver’s licence

Procurement Administrator – Head Office – Gauteng

The successful candidate will be required to provide general administrative support to the Supply Chain Manager and Procurement Officers by receiving requisitions and maintaining the procurement database.

Minimum requirements: National Diploma in Procurement or Supply Chain Management plus 2-3 years’ experience in supply chain/Procurement environment

Remuneration: market related- negotiable.

Projects Officer – Head office – Head Office – Gauteng

The successful candidate will be required to plan, coordinate and monitor the implementation of the skills development planning projects nationally and provide support to the provinces through capacity building

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree with project management at second year level plus 3-6 years’ experience in project management. Project co-ordination experience in a pressurised environment

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Head Office – Gauteng

The HWSETA seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual with a passion for skills development to the above position. The suitable candidate will need to ensure that the HWSETA delivers effectively and efficiently on the following strategic priorities: Provide strategic, administrative and management leadership to the HWSETA; Provide leadership in the development and implementation of policies and strategies that will support the delivery of services by the HWETA; Provide strategic leadership in the implementation of specific targets and key deliverables as reflected in the Annual Performance plan (APP) and strategic plan; Provide support on implementation, delivery, capacity building, liaison and communication with stakeholders for effective service delivery; and Provide leadership and direction in regard to the utilisation of HWSETA resources, including human, financial and assets.

Minimum requirements: Post Graduate Degree – BCOM (Hons) and Registered Chartered Accountant an advantage. 8 – 10 years related experience. 4 years Managerial experience. Above average understanding of the South African public service sector; Sound knowledge of the PFMA, SDA, SDLA, supply chain management and procurement, Grant Regulations and other relevant legislation; Sound technical knowledge of Generally Recognised Accounting Practices (GRAP) and Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP).

National Provincial Manager – Head Office – Gauteng

The HWSETA seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual with a passion for skills development to the above position. Ensure effective implementation of provincial operations in order to achieve APP targets and thus address strategic and policy objectives of the HWSETA.

Minimum requirements: Post Graduate / Master’s degree in business administration, project management or a related field. Code 08 Driver’s Licence and own vehicle. 5-8 years of experience managing multiple projects spanning across regions. Experience leading and facilitating cross-functional teams. 5-7 years at senior management level.

Experience within the SETA environment advantageous.

Executive Manager: Research Information Monitoring and Evaluation (RIME) – Head Office – Gauteng

To ensure that the RIME division of the HWSETA delivers effectively and efficiently on the following strategic priorities: Provide strategic, operational, administrative and management leadership to the RIME division of the HWSETA; Provide leadership in the development and implementation of policies and strategies that support the delivery of research, labour market information, monitoring and evaluation services in the HWETA; Provide strategic and operational leadership in the implementation  of specific targets and key deliverables as reflected in the Annual Performance plan (APP) and strategic plan; Operationalise business and performance plans and lead the implementation, delivery, capacity building, liaison and communication with stakeholders for effective service and Provide leadership and direction in regard to the utilisation of HWSETA resources in the RIME division, including human, financial and assets.

Minimum requirements: Master’s degree in Social Sciences inclusive of qualifications in leadership. Driver’s Licence and own vehicle. 8 – 10 years in related environment and 5-7 years at senior management level.
